 Malfeasance Is As Malfeasance Does.

During the summer, food is ripened quickly. If left out for a small amount of time, it must be thrown out. Sometimes my son (who likes to cook but hates to clean up) will put leftover veggies in the garbage, where it sits all day until I'm home from work. When I walk into the kitchen and smell the pungent odor of aging broccoli, I follow the scent and take care of the problem. The people of the United States need to follow the scent. As a life-long Democrat, I am deeply troubled and horribly ashamed at the ease of which our team has acquiesced to Republicants. Al Gore, John Kerry, Francine Busby- to name a few. Why? What is going on? Why do they talk about fighting back AFTER giving up?

No wonder Republicants have been selling their propaganda, which starts by portraying Democrats as weak! If a Democratic candidate WILL NOT even expose the rotting vegetables (egregious politicians) left out in a sweltering summer kitchen (the public), how can we expect them to lead America out of a war, much less the miserable mess our lives are in at home? Of all the crimes against humanity and war profiteering the court of King Bush has committed since abolishing democracy to replace it with a monarchy, NOTHING will change until we get to the rot of their malfeasance: electoral fraud. As long as nefarious politicians and corporate piranhas are running America, the American public cannot stop their avarice.

Can you imagine Cheney "surrendering" or Bush saying "I concede" or Rumsfeld resigning of his own volition? Of course not! They built their Titanic and they will go down with it before ever admitting to humility or accountability. Therefore, the #1 play in Republicants playbook is: FEAR. It has to be. The reason people use fear, either physically or mentally, is to have control. The Republicants are AFRAID of losing control once Americans find out the truth: why Iraq was invaded; how Bush was "elected"- twice- and why the disparity between the rich and the poor has grown exponentially under the Bush administration. They are working right out of Hitler's playbook because they have to scare us with repeated propaganda of "weak Democrats" and "not surrendering in Iraq" and a "strong economy." ('Fasten your seatbealts kids, it's going to be a bumpy ride'... we are headed into an even Greater Depression.) Their transparency is so evident now, it is almost criminal that people, public servants and civilians alike, still fall down in the boxing ring against Republicants. As Roosevelt so famously said: "Let the only thing we fear, is fear itself."

So, I am going to work overtime to expose the Bush regime within my power; be it letters to the editor of local papers, educating the brainwashed with unequivocal facts and using word-of-mouth at every opportunity I can. We have local groups who want so much to do more, but do not have enough voices to carry the message. People- we are the messengers! We may not work on Capitol Hill, but we hire those who are there; be it through voting or apathy. Are we willing to acquiesce our inherent Constitutional right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?"
